Taxonomy ウサギ目ウサギ科ノウサギ属

Head-and-body length: 50-58 cm. Weight: 2-4 kg.

It inhabits from high mountains to lowlands widely.

They often hide themselves during the day because of natural enemy.

It is herbivorous, eating grass in the summer and digging up snow-buried plants in the winter and biting tree branches and buds.

Winter pur is pure white,  summer pur is brown.
