【※※WARNING※※】

The Asahidake area is in a national park special protected area and is not a typical slope ski area.

Asahidake Ropeway does not perform any rescue activities outside of each course because of it is not a ski resort.

The courses are only minimally marked with signs and poles to protect the natural scenery.

If you go near the fumaroles in poor visibility, there are high risks of falling into the pond due to no  visibility of the trail.

If you deviate from the groomed slope course, you may be in highly danger of being lost.

If you go outside of course, lose track of where you are, and can not get back on course, that means you are in disaster. so pease be sure to call 110 absolutely and request rescue immediately.

It is dangerous to go skiing off-piste.

Weather conditions change rapidly.

Painfully low temperatures, blizzard, heavy snowfall, and terrible poor visibility problems are literally frequent.

Avalanches, collisions with shrubs and trees, falls into streams, and unexpected accidents may also suddenly occur. Do not underestimate the mountains.

【In case of poor visibility】(still better)

【signs and benches are no longer visible】

There is no mountain rescue team stationed at Asahidake. It takes a considerable amount of time for mountain rescue teams to arrive on site.

It is necessary to enter the mountain with sufficient equipments in case of an accident.

We absolutely and definitely recommend to bring avalanche transceiver, mobile battery, power bank, maps ,shovel,first-aid kit, probes and GPS app.  Act to save your life.
