Due to confirmed sightings of brown bears in the vicinity of the Daisetsu Asahidake Gensui Park,

the park will be closed starting at 9th June being to ensure public safety.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation in refraining from entering the park, including the water collection area, during the closure period.

*Please note that the closure period may be extended depending on future bear sightings or reports.

Please remain vigilant and exercise extreme caution when passing through the area near the Daisetsu Asahidake Gensui Park.
