In the short summer of Hokkaido, wild alpine flowers are blooming on the plateau where the snow melted.

Use the Asahidake Ropeway to Sugatami Station(1600m) and walk through the long trail to Susoaidaira,

you can see a large field of wild alpine flowers.

July is a perfect season for watching wild alpine flowers, some of them is endemic of Japan.

Asahidake’s summer is short but intense, please enjoy.
