If people haven’t been taught this, they act without thinking—simply to avoid getting their shoes dirty—and end up destroying the environment.

Do not walk outside the ropes.

Do not destroy any more of the alpine plants’ habitat.

In Japan, there is a saying: “Leave the place cleaner than you found it.”
