It is likely to rain in the evening.

As of now 7:30.It’s drizzling.

It was raining quite heavily yesterday.Different from what was introduced the day before yesterday, people who only read a part of the information may think that it would not rain and the weather was suitable for mountaineering.

However, as you all know, the weather is more unstable and more intense than on flat ground, so please do not rely on simple judgments and compare it with multiple pieces of information. We recommend to refer to Japan Meteorological Agency.

↑The Japan Meteorological Agency is still calling for caution against thunderstorms in the afternoon.

↑SCW also predicts it will rain in the afternoon.

↓We can’t feel any signs of rain or thunder from here …

Instability in the atmosphere, such as the possibility of a thunderstorm, is accompanied by sudden heavy rains and gusts. The field of vision also changes drastically. There is no visibility and exposure to strong winds, it is easy to get lost.

The most common accident in Mt. Daisetsuzan is lost. We would like it to become common sense that ”Topographic maps and compasses suitable for mountaineering are essential for mountaineering.”

Don’t forget that there are many accidents that get lost even though you have GPS at Mt. Asahidake.

Be careful and enjoy!
