There is still snow in front of the station.
Sneakers can easily get wet, so we recommend to rent boots(500yen) in upper station.
<17th June. Opposite side of Asahidake summit>
The trail from the top of Mt. Asahidake toward Mt. Mamiya is covered with lingering snow every year.
Early in the morning and at night, trails become icy and steep that one can easily slip and fall.
It is recommended that you bring spikes or crampons. If you do not have them, it is dangerous to go.
<17th June. Nakadake Onsen trails>
The trail is terrible steep and snow obscures the trail. If you do not have spikes or crampons,
it should not go there without spikes,crampons. Absolutely.
<17th June. Susoaidaira Area>
If you don’t use hiking shoes or boots, your feet will get wet and cold quickly. There is a lot of danger of stepping under the snow.
The trail is still obscured by snow. If you do not have a GPS you will be lost due to poor visibility or high winds.it should not go there without spikes,crampons, and GPS.
<15th June. Tennyogahara:Trail between Asahidake Sanroku Station to Sugatami(Upper) Station>
around 4th station. the trail is almost snow.it is nesessary to bring spikes and crampons.
the other trails are muddy and it is like a puddle like a river.it should not go there without spikes,crampons, and GPS.
Unfortunately, there is too much remaining snow more than last year.
Better to choose a season without snow.
There are people lost or missing every year.
