On October 26th (Monday), 8:30 in the morning, there was more than 10 cm of snow around the visitor center, and the  snowplow was put into operation first time in this season.

However, there is a limit to the heavy snowfall in this season when the temperature is still high, and the parking lot in front of the center is rutted and rattled.

The parking lot of Asahidake Ropeway can be used free of charge during the winter from October 21st.

The round-trip fare for the ropeway is also cheaper than in the summer, but please note that the last run is at 16:00 in the evening.
